From Thursday 5th November 2020 we will be operating a ‘Click and Collect’ service. Please either call us on 020 8741 0786 or email your order through to us:

Payment may be made over the telephone and parcels will then be available to collect from the shop. We will also be operating a limited local delivery service for those who are isolating so do ask for details when you get in touch.

Alternatively, books may be ordered through bookshop.org where you can select the Barnes Bookshop as your preferred retailer.

We shall be counting the days until we can open our doors once more…….

Next day pick up

We can order almost any book in print and have it in the shop ready for pick up by the next day – provided you let us know by 4pm. Just call or email us with the book title and author and we’ll check its price and availability for you. We will call you when your book arrives.

Barnes Crime Writer nominated for major prize

Local author Victoria Dowd has been shortlisted for the People’s Book Prize 2020/21. The nomination is for her debut novel – The Smart Woman’s Guide to Murder which you can buy at the Barnes Bookshop. You can vote for Victoria by clicking on the link below.
